1. Your Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

 


Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods.


To exercise your right to cancel after receiving the goods, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery. Once you have notified us, you must return the item within 14 days.


You may handle and inspect the bike as you would in a physical shop. However, if the bike shows signs of use beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and function, we may make a reasonable deduction from your refund to reflect any loss in value.

 


 

 

2. Condition of Returned Items

 


To ensure a smooth return process:

 

  • We strongly recommend retaining the original packaging for at least 14 days after delivery.

  • The bike should be returned in appropriate protective packaging to prevent transit damage.

  • If the bike has been assembled, it must be carefully disassembled and securely packaged before return.

 


If damage occurs due to inadequate packaging, we reserve the right to make a reasonable deduction from the refund.


For safety and hygiene reasons, if the bike has been ridden outdoors or shows clear signs of use beyond reasonable inspection, we may reduce the refund to reflect any reduction in value.

 


 

 

3. Return Shipping Costs

 


Unless the item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, customers are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.


We recommend using a tracked and insured delivery service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.

 


 

 

4. Faulty or Damaged Items

 


If your CarryMe bike arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault, please contact us as soon as possible after discovering the issue.


Please provide:

 

  • Clear photographs of the damage

  • Photographs of the outer shipping box (if applicable)

  • Your order number

 


Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

 

  • You have the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

  • After 30 days, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement.

 


This does not affect your statutory rights.

 


 

 

5. Refunds

 


Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.


If approved:

 

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

  • Original standard delivery charges (if applicable) will be refunded in accordance with UK consumer law.

  • Any deductions made will reflect the actual loss in value of the item.
